Animal Powerpoint

Create PowerPoint using this site for instructions to draw cartoon animals. (Do not click on any advertisements just the animals you wish to draw).

The first slide is a title slide, so put your name in the subtitle box and use Word Art for the title “Animals”

To use Word Art, look at the "gallery at the top" and click Word Art, you will notice the shot below is in orange.

  • Add a new slide and CHANGE YOUR SLIDE LAYOUT to one that will give you space to draw and write the animals name. (look on the gallery toolbar not far away from Word Art).

    Use "shapes" on the menu to draw your animals.

  • When you have drawn your first animal use your Toolbox the background and font style of your words.
  • Feel free to draw more animals if you have more time.
  • Save your presentation as "animals" in "documents" folder.

Let's create a picture in Excel by following some easy steps:

  1. Select cells A1 through J11
    • Set the Row Height to 38 using Format > Row Height

    • Set the Column Width to 9 using Format > Column Width
    • Click on the little arrow next to the borders icon and select the Thick Box Border option.









        1. Select cells C6 & C7 and click the little arrow next to the borders icon and select the Thick Box Border option. Select cell C6 and then click the little arrow next to the borders icon and select the Bottom Double Border option.
        2. Repeat Step #2 for cells D6 & D7
        3. Repeat Step #2 for cells G6 & G7
        4. Repeat Step #2 for cells H6 & H7
        5. Now for some coloring using the Fill Color Bucket:
          • Color a pale blue: A1, B1, C1, D1, G1, H1, I1, J1, A2, B2, I2, J2, A3, J3, A5, A6, A7, A8, A9, A10, J5, J6, J7, J8, J9, J10
          • Color a dark red: E1, F1, C2, D2, E2, F2, G2, H2, B3, C3, D3, E3, F3, G3, H3, I3, A4, B4, C4, D4, E4, F4, G4, H4, I4, J4, E7, F7, E8, F8, E9, F9, E10, F10
          • Color brown: B5, C5, D5, E5, F5, G5, H5, I5, B6, E6, F6, I6, B7, I7, B8, C8, D8, G8, H8, I8, B9, C9, D9, G9, H9, I9, B10, C10, D10, G10, H10, I10
